Some blogs' URLs
-
Don’t need help with my blog.
I really do want to know – and I have a good reason ! – why some bloggers have URLs that show up in my incoming emails as coming from WordPress.com instead of the actual blogger.
As I’m currently posting another blog a day, this is REALLY IMPORTANT, and I’d be very grateful to have it explained. The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

When people use the follow blog widget their emails are generated by the WordPress.com program and what’s sent comes form their RSS Feed for posts.

At least I think that’s what you are referring to but if your are going to publish a post on this on your blog it behooves you to get a definitive answer from Staff rather than posting something half-baked and stirring a pot needlessly. lol :D So I’ll tag this thread for a Staff follow-up. Please subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and please be patient while waiting.

No, Titi – I’m posting about another blog every day – you know, one that I enjoy and hope others will too. I want to be able to include all details about each one, that’s all.

Hi there Margaret!
The way it works, every time a new post is published on a blog you’re subscribed to, an email coming from WordPress.com is sent to you. If you want to create your own custom newsletter, that can be done by gathering your own list of interested subscribers via a contact form.
Here are directions on creating a contact form:

Let me know if you encounter problems. Cheers!
