Some buttons do not seem to respond

I can’t seem to click on certain buttons and get a response, like screen options, help and add media to attach pictures. I was able to do this before since I have a few posts up with images, but today I can’t seem to add images to a blog post or look at screen options or click on the arrows in dashboard to expand views. I cleared cache and it didn’t help. Thanks for the help in advance.

In order to help you we need to know your specific computing environment details. Please work through what follows and report back.
1. If you are not running one of the browsers and versions listed at http://browsehappy.com/ please try upgrading or switching first.

Add both *.wordpress.com and *.wp.com to your list of trusted sites under the Security tab. Make sure to uncheck the box for “Require server verification (https:) for all sites in this zone.” http://en.support.wordpress.com/https/#frequently-asked-questions
4. Try using another browser.

I have tried most of these but it’s still not working. For instance, if I try and post from the Reader, Add Media button works so it’s not about the browser version or clearing cache. Some setting must have toggled on or off which disables some of the buttons. I can’t get many of the buttons to work on the Post page or Pages Editor. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

Howdy,
We’re working an issue that’s impacting folks using Internet Explorer 9.0. While we’re getting this fixed, would it be possible to either upgrade to IE 10 or to use Firefox or Chrome?
