Some categories and sub-categories missing on new post writer page

  When wordpress redid its format for new posts, my category selection tool stopped listing all my categories… It only shows categories a-d… and the sub-categories are gone too. I can still access the missing categories by doing a typed search. They just no longer show up in the pop-up menu.

  Any thoughts? Sounds like a bug, right?

  I have this same problem. I get a certain number of categories in the drop down (A-H) in my case. To get anything beyond H I need to type, say, S in the text field about the categories drop down.

  This’d better be a bug!

  I have to now keep my categories in a text file on my desktop!
