Some comments and replies on past posts are now vanished

  The user bafriyie and I had extended dialogue each time she commented. Some of my replies to her are now gone. See my About page: Comment-Reply-Comment-Comment due to a missing Reply. See also post:

  with missing Reply.
  Not the only user affected. Not only Replies missing–Comments as well. Have noticed this for a while, but had attributed to my error previously. Now know it is WordPress that is at fault.

  Excellent obvious example in the post The Dentist and The Purse, in Comments/Replies between me and Paul. I refer to a story he’s just related about a moose. His comment containing that story has been DELETED by WordPress.
