Some help or advice?

    Hi there,

    I recently decided to open up a website for our record label ‘Raving Badger Records’ – and someone recommended Word Press, so I headed over to the site and being as amateur and inexperienced in this field I purchased a domain through Word Press themselves, and also the private ability (which was an extra $15) – thinking that was the best I can do.

    Now, after a couple of weeks of really not being able to do anything as I really am struggling to understand how to use the site, I hear that really you are supposed to get the domain through an external site such as ‘Go Daddy’ or along those lines.

    Also, when I try to download Word Press 3.6, I just don’t understand the instructions of what to do, it seems like it is telling you what to do if you set up the domain name on another site like ‘Go Daddy’.

    So all I am asking for is some advice in what I have done wrong. Personally I think I have made a mistake in purchasing the domain through word press, aswell as this privacy setting which extra cash. I just want some help!

    and
    WordPress.ORG.
