Some images appear soft in publish/preview but not in dashboard.
-
This is new, as I post images often on my blog. I’m using ‘Linen’ theme.
My ‘landscape’ oriented images look out of focus in preview. Not in the dashboard, they look totally fine there. The ‘portrait’ oriented images look fine in both preview and dashboard.
I have tried resizing within wordpress.
I have tried several image sizing fixes when exporting from my post production program but nothing seems to work.
I have posted it, reviewed it and it still looks soft.
I have cleared my cache, restarted everything. Still the same.
Suggestions?? Literally losing my mind.

Hi there!
I just visited your site and I don’t see any pictures that look out of focus. It could be a caching issue with your browser. Can you try clearing your cache? You’ll find some instructions here:
If that doesn’t fix it, can you send me a screenshot of the unfocused image? You can just upload it to your media library and I’ll be able to access it there!

I have added the images to my media library. 2 little ones holding hands.
The one in my dashboard is fine, but the other is ever so slightly soft (in preview and when posted). You can particulary see it in my logo.
As I mentioned before, I cleared my cache and cookies. Thanks for your help, this is driving me nuts!

Hello again!
It’s probably because I don’t have the photographer’s eye that you do, but I’m not seeing any differences between those two images.
Here are some tips on troubleshooting image issues:
We also suggest that images be saved in RGB mode, as you will see the best results if you use the sRGB color profile.
Let me know if that doesn’t do the trick!
