Some images failing with code 400 due to resize issues
-
Some images at https://www.immersology.com/ are returning HTTP code 400 with the content “Sorry, the parameters you provided were not valid”. Some are working, mostly older ones, but other than that I see no pattern as to what works and doesn’t.
For example:
https://i2.wp.com/www.immersology.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/stair-820154.jpg?w=1575&ssl=1
https://i0.wp.com/www.immersology.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/07/Activity-Spectrum-Immersology-2.png?resize=768,789&ssl=1don’t work, but this does:
https://i2.wp.com/www.immersology.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/07/Sweeney-Todd-Barrow.jpg?w=626&ssl=1
If you take off the ‘w’ or ‘resize’ params on the above broken ones they do work.
Image type and parameter style seem not to matter.
I have not made any admin changes. It seems highly likely a server bug, but WordPress.com adorably has no place to report bugs, so I’m dropping this here.
