Some national characters look odd – how ti fix it?

    I started with my free wordpress blog in my native language today (Syntax template). However I’ve found that some of my national characters looked quite awkward – especially letters “ś” and “ć”, quite common for my language. They look bolder, thicker and smaller than other, universal letters. It disturbs the theme completely. Is there any way of fixing it or national characters should suffer from discrimination? ;)))
