Some of my images in my blog posts that are in focus are appearing blurry
-
The theme I am using is Reddle. Some of my images that are crisp and in focus appear blurry once I have uploaded them. When I click on the image, however (i.e. once the post has been published), and it takes me to the media file, the image appears as it should (crisp and in focus). My images appear like this on more than one computer, however when viewed on my Android, all of them appear crisp and as they should. I have cleared my cache and checked my cookies, and this has not fixed the problem.
What’s weird is that when I preview other themes, my images also appear as they should (amazingly crisp). Could you please tell me what’s going on and how I can fix this?
Thank you!

Thanks so much for your quick response, Grace.
To answer your question, this is happening in the most recent post — Oct 13 as well as in the March 19th post.
In the Oct 13 post, I am noticing it in the 1st and last images in the post (both of the same image) as well as the 5th image in that post (the one of the bread).
In the March 19th post, it’s the 1st and last image as well (the bread shot), again both of the same image.
To clarify, they are not so much blurry, it’s that all images are not uniformly crisp. The weird thing is, when I preview other themes, all my images not only appear crisp but overall, even more crisp.
Kindly advise?

Hi there,
Unfortunately I am not able to reproduce this error. For example, in the most recent post, here is the first image:
and here is the last:
Is that not what you are seeing? Is this also happening on other computers or mobile devices?
If it is, can you please take a screenshot and upload it to your Media > Library page? I’d be happy to take a further look!

Hi Grace,
Okay, I just took screenshots and uploaded them to my Media > Library page. Please see first 4 photos (second picture, second picture media file, first photo, first photo media file).
For comparison, I included both the image — as I see it on my published post — as well as what I see when I click on them and go to their respective media file pages. As you can see, the media file versions are clearly crisper. Please let me know and thank you!

Hi there,
I must be going crazy because they look the same to me. I’m not seeing any difference in quality. Is the blurriness very obvious on your screen? Or is it very slight?
Also, you said you are seeing this on multiple computers. Is this on every computer you have tested this on?

Hi Grace,
It is not so much as blurry, but not as crisp. This lack of crispness in the images I sent you are apparent to me on my screen, as well as on my husband’s laptop, and my bother has mentioned — on more than one occasion — that some of my images appear “not so crisp” on his home computer as well.
And again , like I mentioned, when I preview other themes however, all my images appear as they should (amazingly crisp). What do you think is going on?

Hm, so one thing I can suggest is to insert the Full Size of the image versus the Large size you chose. The only difference between the Media Attachment file and the image you entered into the post is the size.
So, to change this, edit the image by clicking on the pencil icon and choose Full Size instead of Large as seen here:

Hi Grace,
I did as you suggested and unfortunately there was no change to the appearance. The images are still not as crisp as they appear in their respective media attachment pages. Any other suggestions?
Also, why are my images appearing as they should when I preview other themes? Do you think this has something to do with the Reddle theme itself?

Unfortunately, I am unable to reproduce the blurriness/non-crispness that you speak of – on the site and in the theme previews.
Can you please take a close up screenshot of this? Is it extremely apparent when you view the site? It is blurry all over? Just in a certain place? Does it help when you switch to another theme?
