Some of my Tumblrs are missing on Import
-
Howdy! I’m trying to import my Tumblr(s) into WordPress, but they’re not all showing up.
I guess my question is two-fold:
1) Is there a way to see ALL my Tumblrs tied to a single Tumblr account in the importer?
2) If I do a ‘Tumblr Export’ as a Zip file, is there a way to import THAT directly into WordPress, with all the attendant Media/Metadata?
Thanks!

Hello @mpmazzotta,
All Tumblr import related queries are requested to be tagged for staff members. The reason being they will be able to look into the backend and recommend the further steps.
I have tagged this post for staff’s attention. Someone from the staff will reach you shortly and assist you with it.
All the best.

Hi there,
Is there a way to see ALL my Tumblrs tied to a single Tumblr account in the importer?
Do you mean on this screen?
It’ll show what it imported; are you wanting a count of all posts compared to what it imports? Also, do you know from your end which posts are missing?
If I do a ‘Tumblr Export’ as a Zip file, is there a way to import THAT directly into WordPress, with all the attendant Media/Metadata?
Unfortunately not, though it wouldn’t hurt to get that backup for your own purposes.

So, on my Tumblr account, I have close to 10 different Tumblogs, but in the WordPress CMS, the list in that Screenshot only lists 3 or 4.
Could it be because I’m not the only person who’s an admin/editor on those accounts? I can’t remember if I actually started them, or if I was just added to them.

Oh I understand now, @mpmazzotta. You have more blogs than the ones listed.
We’re getting the list from Tumblr, so if you aren’t the blog owner it’s possible they won’t let you export it.
