WordPress does not control any ISP so they can’t “fix” things as such – they have in the past reached out to some ISPs to make the ISP aware that there were problems – but the last time there was a Brazil issue – what caused things to be fixed was when many many people jammed all the help lines at the ISP – many of the people at the ISP were not aware of any access issue –
And this thread is not being responded to in part because it never ages – and the people that keep bumping the thread to new don’t add anything much to the solution – i.e. – where are they located and what is their ISP
Everybody here know that is a ISP issue,

auxclass is a Volunteer. And no it is not a statement from Staff. Staff have yet to respond to this thread I tagged 4 days ago. They have yet to respond to any of the multple threads reporting this issue https://en.forums.wordpress.com/tags/portuguese-brazil-issue

I am working and had to click out before I was done to answer a phone. auxclass is indicating that as he is in the USA and as I am in Canada, and as we can see images on all blogs reporting this issue and as the blogger reporting this issue cannot see images on their own blogs or on any WordPress.com blogs, that means that they ought to contact their ISP and report the issue to the ISP by asking why they are blocking images on WordPress.com blogs.

We already talked to the ISP, and they say that everything is working OK
But we do not have servers that are being blocked, and we do not know why
WordPress have, so we expect a response

But we are trying to contact our ISP too. I am really trying to solve this issue by the means I am able to do, but, since WordPress seems to already know this issue from long time ago (like @auxclass kindly stated) we can only change experiences and wait for an official statement from the Staff, hoping it dont take till September 24.
It’s really frustrating when you depends on your website to work. But, ok man, we will wait a real official statement because, what we can do we are already doing.

I hear your frustration. I feel for you and I’m sure auxclass does too. I would be more than frustrated after 4 days and not single response from Staff, I would be peeved right off. -
I would encourage everyone to get anyone with access problems to call their ISP – many times the tech support folks are not all that sharp (mine are idiots at the phone company – same tests three or four times, same results and they just sent me to another person) -the way the internet works is that it does not take much to make a big problem
The one thing having the staff in this thread is they can give instructions on what type of trace route to run to maybe show where things are dropping out
The “Brazil” issue was finally resolved some time back – but it was very painful and frustrating for everyone

estou em contato com o pessoal da Vivo. Já informaram que estão com muitos problemas em todos os estados da região sudeste. Ainda não sabem o motivo dos problemas. O meu blog saiu do ar no dia 11 de setembro.

I am in contact with the staff of Vivo. Have said they are with many problems in all the Southeastern states. Not yet know the reason for the problems. My blog went off the air on September 11.translating samuelgfonseca

It’s not only the southeastern states. I’m in Pará and it’s the same from 12 Sept on. I have the impression it’s Brazil wide.

I’m feeling a little bit better now. Before I was getting quite worked up … but now we have acknowledgement and Staff are on to this issue. lol :D I surely hope none of the Brazilian bloggers will post into the Oman thread. -
