Some one else has a username that I want

The quaetion is if there is some way to get hold of a username that someone else has? This blog I found is using “my”name. The blog does not seem to be in use.
when I tried to acess the admin for this blog (not that I think that I could. I just wanted to check if it was mine and i forgot about it or it was not. So when I did this I got a mesage that wanted me to access my other blogs… how come?So what I´m asking is if there is some way to get the username. My name is actually Sarimaria for real and since I´m an artist I really want to use my own name…
If the other “Sarimaria” does not wna´t to use this name anymore is there a way to get it?

As username accounts are never deleted at WordPress.com the answer to your question is no.

There is no rule that anyone who registers a blog must use it and Staff do no snatch back unused blogs. Provided comments are open and/or contact information is provided on the blog you can contact the blogger and ask them to transfer it to you; otherwise, you can’t use it. http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/#transferring-your-blog-to-another-user-or-account

thanx this really helped me! I just wnated to konow “the rights” before doing something stupid ;O Of cource the staff cannot snatsh blogs! I have unused ones to so… I will get in touch with hom/her thank you so very much!
