Some one has put on a winners block on my blog

Dear WP team, I’ve just noticed one of those Winners block put on my blog. I’m just learning how to work the blogs so I can’t get it off. would you be able to help me here?

Matt, it looks like it’s cleared (?) I’m hoping you were able to manage it. I didn’t change it, but it’s clear of advertising now. You know those pop up ads flashing your the 1000 visitor, text …. a number and you’ll win. I’ve seen them every where.
Was really unhappy it turned up on my blog!

WordPress.com sometimes runs advertisements. Most blog owners will not notice the ads, but we understand if you want to remove them and we offer a No Ads upgrade for that, which you can purchase through the Store page in your blog dashboard.

I don’t feel it’s ethical or responsible for wordpress to push adds into people’s blogs to push them to upgrade into paying to stop the ads!
I’d like the adds taken off my blog …please.
