Some people are abusing WordPress.

Hello.
I’m well aware of your policy. I can understand that from where you’re standing there are aspects to consider that may not even cross my mind… And there are rules you’ve ended up finding more suited after giving it a lot of thought.
Having that said, I still think that too many people are abusing your public and free service. It’s unacceptable to have SO many WordPress addresses blocked: they are taken, but they contain nothing — zip!, nada! — or they haven’t been updated in the last 10 years.
These people don’t even leave a contact info, so that others can get in touch with them. Here’s an example of address I’ve registered and I’m not using:
Now, that’s being civilized. Undecided, but civilized. What’s the others’ excuse???
Did you know that Yahoo cleaned up their closet a few years ago? Users were prompted to either log into the accounts they’d like to keep, or lose them. We were also asked to fill in 5 ID’s were interested into getting, and if any would free up we’d be told and invited to register it. That’s how I got my current email address, which was previously taken by… someone who obviously didn’t use it.
Now…
While trying to find a nice WordPress address I’ve come across SO, SO, SO many good ones that are either deleted, empty, or not used since 2005, 2006… etc. That’s ridiculous!
… could you at least help me get in touch with the guy owning ‘opidea’?, please. I’ve registered ‘oopidea’, but it just doesn’t feel right. I’d like to ask the guy if he’s willing to transfer me ‘opidea’. There’s absolutely nothing on that page.
Thanks for taking the time to read. I’m looking forward to hearing from you.
Kind regards.
