Some people using Safari or Firefox browsers are getting a 404 message, even though I can see the website fine.
I recently mapped my blog onto a URL that I owned, could this be causing problems?

Hi Dom,
Are you attempting to map your domain (wreckingshop.com) to WordPress.com? If so, you’ll need to change the name servers as explained here:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/#how-to-change-your-name-servers
Currently, your domain is pointing to a self-hosted site rather than your WordPress.com blog.
Let’s get that sorted out, and then, we’ll work on making sure the domain works for everyone!

OK, I’ve changed the Name Servers as described in the article. Do I need to map the domain again?

Hey Dom!
It looks like you’ve successfully changed the name servers. However, it can take a few hours for the new name servers to take effect. Please let me know if the domain doesn’t start working correctly within the next 8-12 hours.
Just a note, you’ll likely need to clear your browser’s cache in order for the domain to load your WordPress.com site. Instructions can be found here:
