Some photos don’t show on post page but they do on index

  I have a few posts where images work just fine on the multi-post page, but when you click the title to go to the individual post page, they don’t. On some posts it’s mixed, on some all of the images work, on some none work. A little investigating revealed that the urls for the photos that worked had a url with ?w=200&h=100 at the end (the numbers don’t matter, but note there are both height and width values. All of the photos that don’t work (and none that do) have only a width or height value at the end of the url.

  I don’t think that’s the issue. The images that work show an absolute URL e.g. src="http://goffcouture.files.wordpress.com/2009/06/lonaveil2.jpg?w=199&h=300" while the ones that don’t work only show a relative (and incorrect) URL e.g. src="../files/2009/06/lonaveil3.jpg?w=200" I am not sure why this is happening, though, but that is what you need to fix. My suggestion would be to delete the images that don’t work from the post and add them again from the Media Library, making sure that the Link URL displays correctly. If it still doesn’t work, contact support.

  /nod to wpvstp, I’ve seen the relative URL’s popping up here and there and I’m not sure why it is happing either.
