Some premium themes are showing as purchased even though I didn't buy them
-
I have the mid-level wordpress.com plan (around $8-$9 per month if I remember correctly) and about 40 premium themes are showing as “purchased” even though I didn’t purchase any additional themes.
Are these premium themes available for me to use at no extra charge because I have a paid wordpress account?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

No. Premium themes are available in the Business plan, not the Premium plan.
If you do not have a Business plan type modlook into the sidebar tags on this thread for a Staff follow-up. Just to clarify – in the theme section of the Administrator area where you can see all the thumbnails of the various themes available, some such as “Twenty Ten” have no price showing in the lower right hand corner of the thumbnail. Other themes such as “Maxwell” show a green oval with $69 in side which is normal because it is a premium theme. I am confused because dozens of others show up with a green “purchased” button showing even though I haven’t purchased any additional themes. The only thing I have purchased is the regular monthly $8.25 plan.
I’ll wait to hear from WP support people. Thanks!

Hi there,
With the premium plan, you do have access to select premium themes that you would not have access to with a free or Personal Plan, yet it is not the Business Plan where you have access to all the themes. So, yes, what you see is correct. It’s a relatively new feature that has been added to the plan. =)
Let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks,
