Some Quantcast Questions

    Hi all. I’ve searched on this prior to opening a new thread and found very little info. I’ve used Quantcast to better understand my own traffic, and have some questions.

    1. What’s the relationship between Quantcast and Autommatic?

    2. How do I make certain parts of my traffic hidden? (the instructions on the quantcast site are not accurate)

    3. Why can I see the traffic of some other WP .com blogs when I type in their domain on Quantcast.com, and some others I see no traffic? According to the Quantcast site, all .com blogs are automatically quantified.

    4. Why is this info so hard to find? This seems like a nice service for .com bloggers, why isn’t it promoted?

    2 Perhaps google can help?

    3 WordPress.com blog stats are public, but some blogs have issues, including traffic too low to measure

    4 I dunno, ask Quantcast.

    For #4, I meant why doesn’t WP promote it more, not Quantcast.

    WP doesn’t have any money in Quantcast, so they’ve got no particular reason to promote it. They’re really pretty self-interested when it comes to things like that. They own Gravatar, for instance, and Akismet, which is why you see them promoted.
