Some questions concerning using images for reviews.

    I am thinking of upgrading my blog to a domain, but I am unsure if I am breaking any copyright rules and regulations as I wish to request a invite for the ads program. I use the images to talk about the comics I am talking about. Am i using these images under fair use? I have tried reading about it but it’s a tad confusing.

    In general, unless you have the express written permission of a copyright holder to use an image you are violating copyright. Upgrading to a domain doesn’t change that. All it changes is the URLs and nothing else.

    Your blog has to be on a custom domain and it has to be approved after you apply to have it included in the WordAds program.

    Know that inclusion of a blog on a custom domain is not automatic nor is it or quick to get approval and the required traffic numbers are not going to appear here. There must be enough traffic and the content must be of the nature that advertisers want to have their ads appear on as they choose which sites their ads display on.     If an image is 120 px or less in its largest dimension, courts have defined this as fair use. If you’re using larger images you will need permission from the copyright holder.
