Some Recent Comments have no avatar/monster cartoon

  For Recent Comments: Why do some of the comments not have an avatar/cartoon? There is one friend of mine who has always had that monster cartoon avatar, and now it is gone.

  Does this have to do with the fact that yesterday I switched to the Vigilance theme??
