some subsctibers not receiving emails

    Hi
    my blog (engagedharma.wirdoress.com) has been active for several years (thanks!)
    in the past few months the numbers of views per post has significantly dropped. it’s so much lower than the number of subscribers that it made me think some of them are not getting email notifications.
    recently someone contacted me saying that even though she subscribed to the blog she isn’t getting email notifications. yesterday i posted a new blog-post and asked her to check in her spam folder. she said there is nothing there. she uses a yahoo acount.

    any suggestions?

    Hi there,

    Can you please provide me with the actual email addresses of one or two people who say they aren’t receiving emails? Then I can check if they are still correctly subscribed and whether the emails are going out.

    Write each email address on its own line and it will be hidden automatically while I can still see it.

    Thanks for posting the email address. Though the software redacts it Staff can read it.

    Thanks for the email. That email address is currently subscribed to your site, and our logs show that we sent emails to that address on 14 and on 19 November when your last two posts where published, so the emails are being sent. This means if they’re not receiving the emails there is most likely a problem on Yahoo’s end.

    Gmail has automatic filtering where it sends some emails to other folders than the inbox by default, meaning one can easily miss them. It’s possible Yahoo might have started doing the same. Please ask that subscriber to search her email for your site’s address, post titles, and “wordpress.com” to see if the emails aren’t perhaps lying in a different folder from the Inbox or Spam.
