Some tags getting eaten by others
-
Unlike BraveJournal, WordPress does not have the option to mark posts with moods represented by jpg smileys. I am transferring my blog here from BraveJournal, and to preserve the integrity of my old posts, I am tagging posts with different moods represented by emoticon smileys. An angry face in the old post would be represented by this tag: MOOD/ >:( . A happy face would be MOOD/ :) . And so on.
But when I tried to do that, once the angry face tag was created, all the other smileys seemed to get subsumed by it. Every time I tried to do it from within the Post Tags screen, the angry face tag turns yellow and moves to the top. But then if I do a mostly alphanumeric tag (eg. MOOD/ happy), it works fine.
I like having the emoticons describe the mood rather than words, so I’d like to keep it that way if I can. Is there any way to get around this bug? (eg. can i include pictures in my tags? Is there a mood function hidden somewhere in WordPress?) If not, do you have any suggestions?
Thanks.
~Lauren
