Some Things Are Going Terribly Wrong – Please Help Me!

    Hello,

    I’ve been blogging on WordPress for about a month now (I am however an experienced blogger – have been doing this for a few years now) and I am suddenly encountering terrible problems regarding YouTube videos and inserting HTML.

    First of all, when I click to go on the HTML window of a new post or page and go to the bottom to create a space where I want my video to go, when I click the Enter button to go a space down I end up at the top of my post. This is annoying in itself but then when I move my cursor it moves to the top of the post constantly, making it nearly impossible to add any videos to the bottom of a post.

    Secondly, I have a real problem viewing videos – I posted three reviews with videos attached two days ago and now when I go to thse pages the videos aren’t there, I just have a massive space where they should be. I don’t think this is my computer because it’s brand new and I have a fast internet connection speed. I have noticed that all of my videos from blog posts have also disappeared and I’m really upset about it – it’s made my blog look awful with loads of random white spacea all over the place.

    Please please please help me with this – if you look at my blog and you can view the videos fine and they’re actually there then I will stop panicking but if not, can someone give me some technical support?

    Youtube has changed something and it now uses much more RAM than it used to, which is what causes the big white holes. I’ve seen this on all kinds of sites, not just WordPress.com. It’s nothing you’re doing, and not everyone looking at your blog sees this.

    You might be able to alleviate it on your computer by doing the Cookie Dance: log out, clear browser cache and cookies, do a full restart.

    Hmm okay – I’ve used a couple of computers and no-one seems to have the same problem as me – maybe I could just hope that the white spaces mean that the video’s there, just not for me at that time!
