Some widgets won't work – please help.

  I am having trouble with the widgets. In the first place, I can’t get the one for October to work – October 2015: salt
  As far as I can see, the text on the widget follows the same formula as the others, which do work. Where do I go wrong?

  Also, the special articles which I have added:
  ‘March: corporate power (article)’ and ‘July: don’t shun the sun (article)’
  won’t come up as a widget. 
I’ve used
  March 2015: corporate power (article)
  and
  July 2015: don’t shun the sun (article)

  Hi! It looks like you aren’t providing the correct links in your text widgets. I looked through your blog and found your October 2015: Salt post. When I open the post the address is:
  https://thoughtforfoodaw.wordpress.com/2015/05/06/324/
  The link you are using in your text widget is:
  https://thoughtforfoodaw.wordpress.com/2015/05/06/october-2015-salt/
  My guess is that the same is true of the other two articles as well. Once you correct the address, your links should work.

  You’re absolutely right. Thank you.
  All the other widgets have the link which I was using, adapted for that month of course, with the name in twice. I don’t know why October has a number at the end instead of the name. I had no idea that I had to use that particular address at the basis.
  I’m not at all technical, it all comes very slowly to me! So thanks, now I can plod on. Till the next hurdle …
