somehow have 2 wordpress sites after I couldnt login????

    Not sure what is going on. I have 2 wordpress sites after not being able to login, and changing password and it made another account. This is the empty one and the one with my website I cant always get into. I often have to get into it from an old email??? It is ridiculous that it is near impossible to talk to anyone unless I pay for wordpress after Ive already spent $250 buying themes and woocommerse, mistakenly thinking id have access to live chat.

    betwixtnbetweenfestival is the username of the present account. What’s the username of the other account?

    It doesn’t make sense to me that an attempt to change the password on one account could result in the creation of a second account, because in order to create a second account you would have to register the account with a second email address and it’s own password, but I’ve called for staff attention to the topic, because I think it will be easier for them to sort out than a volunteer such as myself. Staff will respond here.

    Each account has a unique account email address. Only one email address can help you get into an account, although it isn’t ordinarily necessary because the username may be used instead of the email address. It is never possible to use an email address that is not the account email address to access an account.

    Looking at the logs for your account, you changed your username from pangaiacreations to betwixtnbetweenfestival around three weeks ago. On the same day you also changed the email address on file for your account to something else, and then changed it back again. You can see the email address attached to this account in your account settings at https://wordpress.com/me/account

    I checked the other email address you temporarily changed to, and there’s no account currently associated with that email.

    I see no purchases in the account you’re using to post here. At what email address did you receive the email receipts for those purchases? Have you tried logging in using that email address instead?

    @musicdoc1     is 100% correct here – there is no possible way that changing your password could create a different account, and you cannot have more than one account with the same email address.
