  Hi –

  An easy alternative to site deletion would be to just make them private. See here:

  https://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings/

  Site deletion should be considered permanent. We may not be able to restore them in the future if you changed your mind about using them. Marking them private would hide them from the internet but allow you to maintain ownership.
