Someone bought my blog site before I could renew it

    It depends who bought it and what they are doing with the domain. If they have a site there then you’re out of luck. If someone bought it with plans to sell if back to the original owner then you might be able to buy it from them at an inflated price.
    The easiest thing would be to put it down to experience and choose a different address for your site. I’ve heard of many people in your situation where pornography is hosted on the domain as the new owner hopes the domain had many people with bookmarks to it during its earlier incarnation.

    From what I can see the domain gatheredgracedecor.com is not registered here at WordPress.com but is instead registered with DropCatch.com and the site itself appears to be hosted at digitalocean.com.

    Have you tried contacting Digital Ocean support for help with your site? Because it is not hosted directly with us here on WordPress.com we’re not able to help. Hope this points you in the right direction!
