Someone else credited with my blog posting?

  I just ran across something very strange and disturbing while checking my stats. One of the incoming links to my blog was this link:

  http://alabama.realestate-investment-solutions.com/soulful-strut-as-performed-by-young-holt-unlimited-1968/

  If go to the link it is a mention of my blog article with a direct link to it. That is not the problem. The problem and question is why and how is it attributed to someone else. My
  name is not nancy123 nor have I ever gone by that moniker. Can anyone explain this phenomena?

  This happens a lot. If you do a forum search for “Blog Scrapers” or “Copyright” or “Splogs” you’ll find many suggestions about how to deal with it and how to (at least attempt to) prevent it.

  Why? So they can make money. If the site doesn’t have ads, it’s so they can get bragging rights about hits and leverage THAT to make money. Money is behind it. And this is usually done by programs that scrape blogs automatically.
