someone else request password reset on my account; what to do?
-
A few days ago, and again today, I received a mail from wordpress.com indicating that someone — not me — requested a password reset on my account.
While this might be a malevolent attempt to use my account, I suspect this is simply someone traditionally using the same nickname as me, and thinking he has already registered this account be forgotten the password. The right thing to do would be to inform him of the situation, so that he can pick a different username instead. Of course, I don’t have any information on how to contact that person.
What should I do?

This is very thoughtful of you. For now, please just ignore and delete those emails. We don’t have a way to contact the person who entered your username into the lost password form, so hopefully they will soon realize their mistake and stop doing that. Thanks for your patience!
