someone else’s name appears as author

  On some of my pings, the link gives someone elses’ name as the author of my post, though it does come to my site. How can I be sure I am listed as author? I’ve tried to add myself as author, but it only works as admin and my name doesn’t show up as the author. Don’t want someone else getting credit for what I write. Should I just add my name as author in the post?

  Chances are that the ping is coming from a splog which steals your content.
  They don’t give a damn about credit.

  Report all such pings as spam.
