  I googled my blog and saw someone’s else post on it . Someone named Linda Ames

  Hey there!

  Can you please confirm if this is related to https://bookworm66.wordpress.com/? Also, can you please clarify what you mean by someone’s else post on it – if you can include additional details on this, it would be very helpful.

  I’ve checked the site from above, and it looks like the site is displaying the default layout from the Ames theme that you are using. The images and text are included with the theme.

  As @emilijamu mentioned, that is the default homepage content for the Ames theme. https://wordpress.com/theme/ames/

  Have you changed themes to Ames? If so and you want your blog posts to appear on your site’s front page instead, you will want to change the setting in the Customizer to show your Latest Posts and not the static page now showing.

  If you created your own homepage and want that to appear as your site’s front page, you’ll need to select that page in the same place in the Customizer.

  Once you set your homepage settings the way you want, Google and the other search engines will update their search results, but it will take up to a month for that to happen. If you have a Google webmasters account, you can help that process along on Google by resubmitting your site map. https://wordpress.com/support/site-verification-services/#upload-your-word-press-com-sitemap-to-google-search-console

  The Linda Ames text is the default content on the theme demo for the Ames theme: https://amesdemo.wordpress.com/

  It looks like you’ve already customized your site, though it will take some for Google to organically re-index it. In this case, I also suggest submitting your site to Google Console: https://support.wordpress.com/webmaster-tools/
