Someone fraudulently deleted permanently my WP domain….

I do not know how this happened but obviously it was fraud. Someone got into my WP account and then deleted my main private domain, and then closed the entire WP account. Support said that they have to “recreate” my domain but as of now, no word of that. I run a nonprofit that deals with mentally ill persons, the homeless and the battered and this is horrible to just leave a human rescue charity stranded with no site and no working email. So how do I get support moving on this?

If someone has access to your wordpress.com account, it means they also have access to your email account.
To tigthen security on your wordpress.com account: change your password to a really strong password, and activate 2FA.
If possible do the same for your email account.
Next wait for help from a Staff member who can see what exactly happened.

Did the person have access to your computer? If you are at a venue with mentally disturbed people and left your computer logged into the website – was it secure?

I myself am trying to find out if WordPress is secure and hope you will provide more detail what happened. Thanks Darnell
