Someone has hacked my WordPress site and moved it to Hostinger.
-
Hi Support Team,
My website http://www.youngbuckmedia.com.au has been hacked and appears to have been moved to Hostinger without my authorization. I originally managed the site through WordPress, and I can no longer log in or access the WordPress dashboard or hosting files.
Details:
- The incident started around [insert date you noticed it, e.g., October 25, 2025].
- I was recently setting up a contact form on another site (onenowtwo.com.au) using Formspree, and shortly after, I lost access to my Young Buck Media site.
- The domain now points to Hostinger, but I did not initiate any transfer or DNS change.
- I’m the verified owner of the domain name and can provide registrar proof if required.
Can you please help me and advise how to recover ownership or restore the original site?
I’m happy to provide any verification or additional information you need to assist with recovery.
Thank you for your help — this is urgent as it’s my business website.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

If what you tell is true, not only your site has been hacked but also your whole system. Or it’s just impossible for someone who hacked your site, to move your domain and hosting unnoticed to another provider as there are a few steps you have to confirm and some payments must be made.
You created the wordpress.com account sillya3751727c9 only a few hours ago meaning it cannot be connected to or own a domain and site thar are much older.
The last time your whois-infohas been updated was in August 2025 – https://wordpress.com/site-profiler/http://youngbuckmedia.com.au
That site isn’t running on the wordpress.com platform nor is it connected to a wordpress.com account for login, that’s why you won’t find it over here.
You can still log in at https://youngbuckmedia.com.au/wp-login.php? using the credentials you choose when you set up that site. If you need further help, you must take a look in the documentation at https://wordpress.org/

Hi @sillya3751727c9,
I’d be happy to look into this with you!
Currently, as previously mentioned, this site is not hosted with us. You can locate the host using our Site Profiler, here: https://wordpress.com/site-profiler/.
It’s possible that the original website you’re referring to is self-hosted as well. So, while the site may be built on WordPress technology, separate from WordPress.com hosting, we specifically support sites built with WordPress technology hosted on WordPress.com. You can read more about this here: https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/.
That being said, if you believe the domain was once pointing to a WordPress.com website, we’d be happy to help you locate it. If you’re able to share any of the information in the account recovery form: https://wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery.
Additionally, if you know any more information about the site or what account it could be associated with, that’d be great!

From my research my old tech team moved the hosting over to Hostinger. youngbuckmedia.com.au is usually login at https://youngbuckmedia.com.au/wp-login.php? with the username: (email visible only to moderators and staff). It is saying it is not recognising it anymore. this was the email i recieved from wordpress when i first opened my account:
Username: michael

Hi @sillya3751727c9,
Thanks for sharing those extra details. It’s certainly stressful when you suddenly can’t log into your business site.
That login email you shared helps confirm that your site youngbuckmedia.com.au is a self-hosted WordPress site, not one hosted here at WordPress.com. We have a guide that explains the difference between the two: https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/
As you discovered, your site is hosted with Hostinger. Because the site’s files, database, and user accounts are all on their servers, we at WordPress.com don’t have any access to its login system.
To regain access, you will need to contact Hostinger’s support team directly. They are the only ones who can help you investigate the login issue and assist you with getting back into your site’s dashboard. You can reach their support team here: https://www.hostinger.com/support/
I hope they can get this resolved for you quickly!
