Someone is charging their ads on my account

I had an account and a client started charging my WordPress account for their ads so I closed it down hoping they would be disconnected. I’m still getting emails about payments being successfully processed. The old client has not responded to my emails and I want the charges to stop. So I thought if I maybe reactivated my account I might be able to contact support about it again. But I don’t have a paid account, so I can’t ask anyone at all. I need to know who is charging the old account so I can ask them to stop, why it’s still able to go through even though the account is closed, and how do I stop this. And recover my account if possible even though I don’t have a way to verify. Even though my new account is using the email that’s being used to contact me about the ads for the old account. I have no idea what’s going on and I need it to stop. If you’re charging my account, I should be able to contact support about it even if it’s not a ‘paid’ account.

To help us investigate and resolve this for you as quickly as possible, please send an email to help@wordpress.com with as much detail as you can. If you have access to any recent charges, it would be especially helpful if you could include the Transaction ID associated with them.
