Someone is going to hack my blog
-
I need some help. Someone who hacked loads of blogs said that they would hack my blog! The guy hacked loads of WordPress.com sites and posted extremely rude posts on them which were rude, offensive and racist. Then he commented on my blog that he would hack it.
Here are some details of the user:
WordPress name: Pure
IP Address: 94.9.113.205
Please remove him from viewing my blog as it has loads of stuff on it and I don’t want him to hack my blog! The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi,
I’d recommend installing this plugin for extra security: https://wordpress.org/plugins/bulletproof-security/
It will help protect against both present and future hacking threats. Be sure to carefully read its documentation and installation steps.

@jtcodewell
This is WordPress.COM, not WordPress.ORG. We do not have any ability to install plugins here. Please do not give inaccurate information like this on these forums again. WordPress.com and WordPress.org are completely separate and different.

@jtcodewell – very bad and wrong answer – Plugin’s can not be used on WordPress.COM blogs
For more on the difference: http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
@sponggoo5000 – make sure your email is very secure – that is the way that most “hacks” are done (not really a hack, just getting your login to email) – also make sure you have a secure password (see below) – looking at your blog – you have a lot of users – make sure you know all of them well – don’t have more than one Admin (an Admin can delete a blog or add new users – if they add the wrong user your blog is burnt toast)
If you have a cell phone you can add Two Factor ID – but it has some downside – from what I have seen in the forum – the send a text message to the phone seems to be more popular – also make sure you print and save in a safe spot the emergency codes in case something goes wrong

They’ve commented again saying that they’re going to hack my WordPress account in the next day so PLEASE stop him!

The only way someone can gain access to your blog is if you provide them with your password or if you invite them as a user. Read what @auxclass wrote above. Make sure you have a secure password, both on WordPress.com and on your email account, and make sure other users on your blog don’t have admin or even editor access.
This person sounds like a troll who’s just trying to rile you up. I recommend adding his username and email address to your comments blacklist so he won’t be able to bother you anymore. http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/discussion-settings/#comment-blacklist
DO NOT add his IP address to the blacklist – IP addresses are not unique and you may end up blocking other people instead.

I did. Now, is there anything that you can do? Is it possible to block the user from my blog?
-
You can block him from commenting. I gave you the instructions above.
There is no way of blocking him from viewing your blog apart from setting your entire blog to private. Then only you and the users you add will be able to view it. http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings/
