Someone is trying to reset my password!

    Hello, In the last 30 minutes, someone has tried to reset my password three times. Obviously, this isn’t me trying to reset my account! Luckily, the notification comes to my email but it’s freaking me out. How easily can they access my account? What I can do stop them from continually trying to reset my password.

    Your blog is safe as long as you have a long password – someone is probably misspelling their email address – but make sure your email account / password is secure

    not much you can do

    you can also enable two step verification that sends a message to your sell phone with a second verification code – so anyone logging in needs to also have your cell phone

    I will also flag this for the staff but they are a bit backed up with requests

    Everything is as Auxclass said. Someone probably has mistaken your username for theirs, and unless they have access to your email too, they cannot reset your password.

    Just for extra safety, always use a strong password http://en.support.wordpress.com/selecting-a-strong-password/ and please consider activating two step authentication http://en.support.wordpress.com/security/two-step-authentication/
