Someone is trying to take over…

  Hi there,

  I made a blog to promote my workplace. I left that workplace and now they’re trying to take ownership of the site. It is MY blog registered in MY details. Can they do that?

  I would like to keep it to show other companies what I have done…

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  A blog belongs to the original admin, and as you are the original admin no-one can take it from you, provided you don’t break the TOS of course.

  Thanks very much.

  I keep getting password resets sent through to my personal e-mail… It concerns me that if somehow I lose it, I’ll never get it back!

  It would be a good idea to change your email address associated with your account, and your username too. That would prevent ‘them’ from trying to gain access.

  As long as you don’t click on the link in the email you should be OK – you should change the password for both your blog and email to a long one that can’t be guessed.

  It could be someone trying to take over your blog or email or it could just be someone that has lost access to their own blog but has a problem spelling their user name or email account.
