Someone keeps changing my password. I should be the only authorized user.

Please help me to secure my account somehow 2 different people have gained access and changed my password.

I received an email this morning from WordPress stating that my websites WordPress account password had been changed by : user columbuscolmener
I should be the only user. I have never heard of this person. -

Hi there,
That email didn’t come from us, and the only password change to the WordPress.com username account you used to create this thread was a password reset 13 hours ago, immediately before this thread was posted, so that was you. You don’t own any sites hosted with us or connected to this account. The username,
columbuscolmener, also doesn’t exist on WordPress.com.That email is coming from a stand-alone WordPress site built with the open source WordPress software made on WordPress.org – the domain after the @ is for the site the email is coming from.
If you didn’t make that change, log into WP-Admin on your site, go to Users ->Profile and set a new password there. Also go to Users ->All Users, and remove any other user accounts you don’t recognise. Note that there might be an admin account for your hosting provider – you should not remove that.
Then I’d advise you to consider installing a two-factor authentication plugin to add an extra layer of security to your site. You can also find some more tips on improving security on a stand-alone WordPress site here:

Lastly, make sure your email and hosting accounts are also secured with strong passwords and two-factor authentication.
