Someone logged in without my knowledge
-
I I haven’t been on this site for a while but I had a notification injected. It said that someone tried to sign in using my email link? I just wanted to let you know that I don’t think it was me
I don’t have a site linked to this WordPress.com account

Hi there,
When did you receive this email? The last email login request I see for the account you’re using to post here was over a month ago, and the only recent emails we’ve sent you were for blogs you’re following via email.
An email login notification is triggered when someone types your username or email address into the login form, but it does not mean someone has logged in. To actually log in they need the link appearing in that email, so as long as your email account itself is secure, there’s absolutely no way someone else can access your account in this way.
That said, if you want to be extra safe, I recommend you also enable two-factor authentication as an extra security layer on your site:
https://wordpress.com/support/security/two-step-authentication/
If your email offers that option (they should), enable it there as well, so your email account is also protected.
