Someone stealing passwords, has already gotten a handful.

    There is someone in the WordPress community (he’s been only hacking the Clubpenguin blogs hosted by WordPress) that has been stealing blogger’s passwords and taking over their blogs, claiming that he owns them. He was the writer of a blog owned by user Mohd222 and then removed Mohd222 and changed the password. I am speaking for many people when I say I am afraid that he will come into our blogs and take over.

    Here is what he has done:
    -Taken Mohd222’s blog
    -Taken someone’s account from the WordPress
    -Stolen Youtube accounts and WordPress with the same password
    -Changed passwords

    Is there any way we can stop him? His username is “Chewy Pup.”

    You need to write support by email: support*@wordpress.com – remove the star.

    You know what? There IS a way to stop him.

    Change all your passwords to something that WP.com says is STRONG and don’t tell anyone what they are. Don’t make other people admins on your blog. You’ll be safe.

    And for heaven’s sake, don’t trust Chewy pup! I can’t tell you how much CP drama he’s responsible for…..
