Someone took my old domain

Someone purchased my old domain (aintbaroque.com), which is fine – I don’t want it anymore. However, they somehow managed to email my readers through my email address. I’ve changed my email password and hopefully that should put an end to that, but I was wondering if there was a way to detach the domain from my WordPress account, as it’s still listed in my dashboard.

Sure thing. I’ve removed it from your account so it’ll no longer appear, except in your billing history. Do you know how they were able to e-mail your readers?
It may be a good idea to change your WordPress.com password (at http://wordpress.com/settings) as well if you think that they logged into your account here.

No idea – I only know it happened because a friend of mine informed me that she had received an email. I’ll go ahead and change my WP password as well and hopefully that’ll lock everything down. Thanks for the help!
