Someone Trying To Hack My Account

    I used to have a site, but it was so long ago I actually don’t remember what the URL was. Between last night and this morning, someone has tried twice now to reset the password to my WordPress account. Can’t imagine why anyone would want to get in there, but thought I should report it.

    I don’t have a site with WordPress.com yet

    Hi there,

    I’m afraid there’s not much we can do without knowing the URL of the site in question.

    Additionally, the WordPress.com account you used to create this thread is only a few hours old, created right before this thread itself. So it’s clearly not this account you’re speaking of :)

    At what email address are you receiving the password reset requests, and what’s the FROM address those emails are coming from?
