Someone using my logo but don't know who

My company had a domain name that was run by a former employee and when he left the company the domain name was allowed to expire. Now someone else has that domain name, we don’t know who, and today we got an email for a post on that blog using our logo and formatted like our old emails. We did not post this and need to find out who did. Where do we start?
The url for the blog that used to be ours is http://www.waternewsupdate.com.

Log in and look in all the Posts – the author of the Post will be shown
Also disable “Post by Email” in case the email address has been compromised.
Also look under users and make sure you don’t have extra user names
