When I login, it says ‘fatal error’ and I can’t go any further. Not sure what’s wrong but definitely need it fixed ASAP, please!

Yes, but I don’t think it’s a hosting error, I think it’s a plugin error.

You are correct that It does look like that is a hosting error with the plugin Revolution Slider over at HostGator.
Since your site is not hosted by WordPress.com we don’t have access to the site to help you correct the error. You’ve reached support for the millions of sites we host here on WordPress.com and not those hosted elsewhere like HostGator.
To clear up any confusion, there are two main ways people use WordPress, the first is here at WordPress.com where we manage and support those sites. The second is by downloading the WordPress software from WordPress.org and installing it on a host such as HostGator. This second method we don’t support and it’s the one you are currently using.For help with your site, contact HostGator or reach out to the Revolution Slider team for support.
