I just edited all my categories that I would like to have on the right side in the side bar. But there is a category plumbing that I cannot delete. If you open my site http://www.redondobeachwaterheaters.com you can see that the word plumbing sticks out and don’t know why? I went to manage categories and plumbing doesn’t even have a check box? to delete it…

Ok, so i have the categories but when i click on any of this links it opens and there is no content..it is empty?
When I was editing them i did this..example new category sewer and also add them in parent category.

is there anyway that category will open when you click on the link instead of clicking on the link to get the link and clicking again for the article to open?

That is just how that theme displays category listings. It displays only the title. The way to clarify this for your readers is to have more than one post in each category; then they’ll see a list of titles going down the page and can click on the title they want to read. That will take them to the actual post.
You probably want to use the Recent Posts widget as well, so people can get directly to posts they want to read.

Categories and posts are not the same. You can have, say, three hundred posts in the category copper pipes.
