    Having some kind of contact form that allows visitors to add an attachment would be extremely useful. (Ex: having a form for people to submit job applications and attach a resume). Is there any way to do this now with a wordpress.com account?

    While this isn’t possible with the contact forms we can insert, I think there might be a way around it, though: People can upload their resume to their media libraries if they’re also on WordPress, or otherwise to Google Drive, Dropbox, or any similar service. You can then add a field on your contact form where they can enter the URL for where-ever their resume is uploaded. That way you can access it and download it.

    It’s a bit more complicated, but if you provide clear instructions along with your contact form people should be able to manage it.
