Something weird re "related posts" on one of my blogs

I wanted to disable the “related posts” feature on one of my blogs – http://meiravsblogarchive.wordpress.com/ – but couldn’t find that in the settings. (On my main blog, this setting is shown under Reading, which is where I thought it should be. But on this one, nada. Nowhere.)
I searched the Support pages and found something saying that if you use certain themes, including Expound – which is the one I’m using for this one – this feature is disabled. So I guess that’s why it’s not included in the settings – but how come it’s not disabled then? If you look at any post on this blog, you’ll see “related posts” shown at the bottom. (and they’re usually not related, so it’s not working very well, which is why I wanted to disable it.)
to clarify, I repeat: on my main blog I have no problem. my main blog – http://meiravsblog.wordpress.com/ – is using the Twenty Eleven theme and all is well: I have “related posts” enabled, and it works just fine; and when I go to Settings -> Reading, I can see where I could disable it if I wanted to. But on http://meiravsblogarchive.wordpress.com I’m using the Expound theme, and “related posts” are shown but they’re a mess, and I can’t find a setting there to disable it, apparently because – according to the info on your Support page – it’s supposed to be disabled already.
I guess there’s a bug somewhere. I hope you can sort it out.

You are correct, Expound doesn’t give the option to remove Related Posts. This isn’t a bug, but rather a designer’s choice.
You have two options if you want them to disappear:
You can adjust your theme to something similar such as Suburbia or Oxygen. These two themes are quite like Expound in form and function.
The other option is to keep Expound, but to add the Custom Design upgrade to your site. If you have this upgrade, I can provide you with CSS code that will hide the visibility of your Related Posts.

Oh! so it’s the opposite of what I understood! so what’s disabled in this theme isn’t the feature itself, but the ability to disable it… how odd… Thank you for clarifying. I’ll look into the alternatives you suggested. I appreciate the quick and clear response!
