Sophisticated Business Theme (Free) Doesn't Look Like the Demo

  How do I get the Sophisticated Business theme to look like the demo for the free version. All I want to do is have a picture that covers the homepage…but I can’t figure it out. Any thoughts? I’m afraid they advertised the premium version.

  Hi @kmill28,

  Have you tried adding a featured image to the page that you have added for the frontpage?

  I am sharing a document which can provide you details on the featured image for any post /page – https://en.support.wordpress.com/featured-images/

  If you have not added any page for the homepage yet, don’t worry here are the steps for the same:

  To set static homepage, follow these steps to achieve the same look:

  – Publish two pages and give them titles that are easy to remember, like “Home” and “News.” To publish a page, navigate to My Site → Pages → Add Page.

  – Next, go to Customize → Homepage Settings.

  – Select “A static page” and choose the two pages you published in Step #1 — “Home” and “News” — as your Homepage and Posts page, respectively.

  – You can give your site a more streamlined look by hiding the static homepage title. To do this, scroll down to the bottom, and check Hide Homepage Title.

  – Click the Publish button on top to save your changes.
