Sorry but recountancy.com.au is already mapped to a WordPress.com

  Hi WordPress community.

  I have built a new blog site to replace an old one, and now want to direct the new site to my own domain recountancy.com.au. However, despite having tried to remove the mapped domain from the old blog site, i just get ‘Sorry but recountancy.com.au is already mapped to a WordPress.com’.

  When i try to delete the old blog site, it just tells me ‘You have active premium upgrades on your site. Please cancel your upgrades prior to deleting your site.’

  I am stumped on both counts. Can anyone talk me through whatever the process is to sort this out?
