"Sorry but [URL] is already mapped to a WordPress.com blog."

  I am trying to map a wordpress.com blog (visionzeroca.wordpress.com) onto a domain name that I have purchased through NameCheap.

  It is all good on the NameCheap end (i.e. nameservers at NS1.wordpress.com, NS2.wordpress.com, NS3.wordpress.com; that was done weeks ago) and no funny stuff (redirects &c).

  I have gone through the mapping instructions here

  where I go to Domains Page > Already Own a Domain > Map a Domain

  I enter visionzero.ca and it says “Sorry but visionzero.ca is already mapped to a WordPress.com blog.”

  How do I determine what it’s mapped to, and how do I map it onto visionzeroca.wordpress.com ?

  PS – at end of that last msg It says “The blog I need help with is grahamlarkin.info” at the end of that msg. That must have been auto-generated, and it is incorrect. In fact the blog I need help with is visionzeroca.wordpress.com, as indicated.

  Best I can figure out is that I (somehow) have a WP site called “visionzero.ca” in addition to one called “visionzeroca.wordpress.com.” And what I think I need to do, to have this domain mapped properly, is cancel “visionzero.ca” and transfer that domain redirect to visionzeroca.wordpress.com. But I don’t want to delete it until I know what I’m doing, so thanks to any support gurus who can guide me through this.

  No problem, we can get this sorted out.

  Right now I’m seeing visionzero.ca as being mapped to http://visionzerodotca.wordpress.com/. If you can confirm for me, I can move the mapping to point to visionzeroca.wordpress.com.

  Sorry, I didn’t word that very well. Sometimes my fingers move faster than my brain.

  What I mean is, “Can you please confirm for me that you would like me to move mapping for visionzero.ca from visionzerodotca.wordpress.com to visionzeroca.wordpress.com?”
